Our Classes

RMA CLASS SCHEDULE 2026

All BJJ classes at Riverdale Martial Arts follow a structured format, including warm-up exercises, technique drills, positional sparring, and live rolling (sparring), ensuring a well-rounded and engaging learning experience for all participants.

  • Designed for our youngest members, these classes focus on developing coordination, basic BJJ techniques, and fostering a love for physical activity in a structured and discipline driven environment.

    Class Times:
    Wednesday & Friday: 4-4:45pm & 5-5:45pm
    Saturday: 9-9:45am

  • As children grow, these classes help them build on foundational skills, introducing more complex techniques and encouraging discipline and respect.

    Class Times:
    Tuesday & Thursday: 4-5pm & 5-6pm
    Saturday: 10-11am

  • Our Women’s Only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class is designed to build real-world self-defense skills in a supportive and focused environment. Training emphasizes practical techniques for handling common situations, including escapes, control, and how to respond effectively under pressure.

    Classes focus on developing awareness, confidence, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations. Through partner drills, positional training, and controlled live sparring, students learn how to apply techniques realistically against resistance-not just in theory.

    This program is ideal for women looking to feel more capable in everyday life, improve fitness, and train in an environment that is welcoming, respectful, and empowering.

  • Our adult and teen classes encompass a comprehensive curriculum that integrates Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi), No-Gi grappling, and kickboxing to deliver a complete system of grappling and striking. Training includes fundamental techniques, takedowns, striking combinations, advanced strategies, and controlled live sparring—designed to challenge and progress practitioners of all levels. This well-rounded approach builds real-world capability, not just sport-specific skills. The second hour is dedicated to live training, including rolling and situational sparring. We also offer a separate women’s-only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class that follows the same structured curriculum in a supportive and focused environment.
